The International Boxing Association (AIBA) has signed up Kazakhstan’s Sat & Company as an official partner and title sponsor of the 2011 World Championships, which will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The deal will see Sat & Co gain international exposure at the 2011 World Championships and selected other AIBA events through to the end of 2011.
"We are delighted to have received such strong corporate support from one of the world's major boxing powers," said AIBA president C. K. Wu.
"Sat & Co's commitment to boxing is an illustration of the sport's popularity in Central Asia and its title sponsorship of the 2011 World Championships will add exposure to a global audience. Through this major sponsorship deal, AIBA is also able to secure a healthy future for its global development programmes".
Under the terms of the deal, Sat & Co also becomes an official sponsor of the 2010 AIBA Congress, which will be held in Almaty, Kazakhstan on November 1-2.
