Fifa president Sepp Blatter has once again spoken of his concerns about introducing technology into football.
The governing body has come under increasing pressure to at least consider such measures after several high-profile refereeing blunders at the World Cup in South Africa.
Blatter, who has been a staunch opponent of technology in football over the years, did say that Fifa would discuss the matter after the tournament.
But he told the German Football Federation's (DFB) official website this week: "Concerning the help of technical means, it's more complicated. Every system must be studied in detail with a view to an eventual use."
For now, Blatter is concentrating on an overhaul of the refereeing system that he believes will bring through a new generation of younger officials.
"The principal work in football now, I already said it before the World Cup, is refereeing," Blatter added.
"At the end of October or the beginning of November, we're going to unveil our project on high level referees.
"There will be rejuvenation. I am for professionalisation, even if there are views against it."
Blatter did reveal, however, that that the issue of technology is on the agenda for the International Football Association Board's (IFAB) October meeting.
