USA Track and Field boss Doug Logan has admitted he still has “no idea” about his future with the organisation despite a showdown meeting at the weekend.
Logan, USATF's chief executive since July 2008, has been criticised for his hands-on leadership style and desire for change.
The governing body's board of directors met in executive session in Las Vegas on Saturday (September 11) and Sunday (September 12) to discuss whether to retain him.
When asked about his future, former Major League Soccer commissioner Logan told Reuters: "I have no idea. I met with them for an hour [on Saturday].
"I was able to speak my sentiments. There were a few questions and then they went to dinner.
"I have not a clue when they will make a decision.”
