Port operator DP World has once again signed up as the presenting sponsor for golf’s Dubai World Championship following the success of the inaugural event last year.
The Dubai World Championship is the climax of the year-long Race to Dubai to determine Europe’s No 1 golfer after a season spanning 48 tournaments. It will be played at the Jumeirah Golf Estates’ Earth course from November 25-28.
Mohammed Sharaf, chief executive of DP World, said: “The European Tour’s Race to Dubai is an event of enormous significance for Dubai and the UAE as a whole, and reinforces our position on the world map of international sport.
