The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Evaluation Commission announced the dates when the three cities, bidding to host the 2018 Olympics and Paralympics will be inspected.
The Commission, chaired by Gunilla Lindberg, will begin from Annecy in France on February 9. Four days later South Korean will be visited Pyeongchang to be inspected from 16th to 19th February. The latest stop will be Germany, where Munich will be visited from March 1 to March 4.
Ultimately, a report will be created and published a month before the IOC Session in Durban on July 6. Then the host city will be chosen.
Meanwhile Munich launched its “PROlympia” campaign, which will promote the Bavarian capital's bid to become the first city in the Olympic history to host both the Summer and Winter Games. At the same time in PyeongChang a bobsleigh venue and an ice rink have been constructed.
