The WTA Commonwealth Bank Tournament of Champions has reappointed IEC in Sports to exclusively represent the international broadcast media rights outside Asia.
In addition, ESPN Star Sports will be broadcasting all matches live and highlight shows.
Local terrestrial television is covered by ANTV and TV ONE with delayed telecast of the semi-finals and final.
The event will take place in Bali, Indonesia from November 4-7, 2010.
“The Commonwealth Tournament of Champions promises to be a fantastic year-end finale for the tour’s international events,” said Kevin Livesey, tournament director and WTA executive board member.
“IEC will distribute the live broadcast for all four days of the competition which is a first for the event.”
Jonas Persson, chief executive of IEC in Sports, added: “IEC already represents the majority of the WTA’s international series events around the globe. The inclusion of this event will further boost the popularity of women’s tennis among our broadcasters.”
