The European Tour has appointed hospitality specialist the Cavendish Group as the official European agent for the Dubai World Championship to be played at Jumeirah Golf Estates in November.
The Dubai World Championship is the culmination of the Race to Dubai, the season-long competition that replaced the European Order of Merit at the beginning of the 2008/2009 season.
The season’s top 60 players will tee-off on the Earth Course, designed by Greg Norman, on November 23.
Cavendish will be offering hospitality opportunities including a luxury package in the pavilion overlooking the 18th green.
Additionally, there will be an opportunity to play the Earth Course itself in full championship mode on November 30 as part of the ‘Ultimate Golf’ competition.
“I was privileged to attend the inaugural event last year,” said Cavendish event manager Celia Scholtz. “It was one of the best hospitality packages I have ever experienced – great view, great food and great golf – all at very reasonable prices. I can thoroughly recommend it to any golf enthusiast.”
