MP & Silva has agreed an exclusive media rights distribution deal for future editions of the Copa Telmex, the 250 ATP World Tour Tournament played in Argentina in February.
Under the agreement, the agency will immediately assume media distribution responsibilities for the Buenos Aires-based event worldwide (with the exception of Argentina).
The deal covers all existing or future media transmission mediums and technologies, including terrestrial free-to-air television (FTA), satellite and cable television, Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), mobile television, mobile, and internet and broadband television.
Miguel Nido, president of Altenis, owners of the Copa Telmex, said: “2011 will mark the 11th edition of the Copa Telmex and while we are very pleased with what we have achieved so far, we are very keen to expand and grow the tournament outside of Latin America.
“Our collaboration with MP & Silva will help us to achieve our objectives by allowing us to reach out to more broadcasters and tennis fans.”
