Robbie Hart has been appointed to the board of New Zealand Cricket (NZC) to replace former chairman Alan Isaac, who is now vice-president of the International Cricket Council.
Hart, a former Test wicketkeeper, was elected at NZC's annual general meeting in Wellington, where he joined the former spin bowler Stephen Boock as the only ex-Test cricketers on the eight-member board.
Hart represented New Zealand in 11 Tests and two one-day internationals, and spent 12 years playing for Northern Districts before his retirement in August 2004.
He also has a background in law and corporate affairs, and until recently served on the board of the New Zealand Cricket Players Association.
