P&G; hires Hill & Knowlton for Olympic task 29/10/2010

Procter & Gamble (P&G;) has appointed Hill & Knowlton to handle its Olympic activation programme in the UK.
P&G; and the International Olympic Committee announced a global partnership in July that includes marketing rights for more than 50 brands across 38 consumer product categories.
P&G; is looking to build on the success of its Team USA partnership at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics which resulted in improved favourability, greater market share and almost $100m in incremental sales.
P&G;'s portfolio of brands will sponsor athletes and national teams in the build up to London 2012, and Hill &Knowlton; will advise P&G; on its corporate communications, provide sports marketing counsel, manage its social engagement campaign and work with the current roster of P&G; agencies in creating and co-ordinating consumer brand activation plans with P&G;'s top brands.
