The BNP Paribas Open is to become the first tennis tournament to feature replay technology on all eight match courts in 2011.
The event, which will take place next year between March 7 and 20 in Indian Wells, California, combines the men’s and women’s professional tours.
Most pro tournaments feature Hawk-Eye replay technology and video displays on up to three courts, but none have made it available on all eight courts.
Tournament director Steve Simon believes adding replays for all courts will make the tournament the most accurately officiated in the world.
