Qantas has been announced as the official airline partner for the Perth 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships, to be held in December next year.
It has signed up as a silver level sponsor and will assist Perth 2011 in transporting teams and officials to Western Australia, as well as promoting Perth 2011 domestically and internationally.
Perth 2011 director of commercial operations Darren Beazley said: “We are delighted to have an iconic brand like Qantas join the Perth 2011 sponsorship family.
“Securing Qantas as a silver level sponsor is an enormous vote of confidence in the World Championships by the commercial sector and we hope to maintain this momentum in securing more commercial supporters as we lead into the Perth International Regatta.”
