Hyundai-Kia renews Fifa deal 24/11/2010

Fifa top-tier partner Hyundai-Kia has extended its agreement with world football’s governing body up to and including the 2022 World Cup.
The company has been a Fifa partner since the 2002 World Cup, which took place in Japan and Korea.
Fifa president Sepp Blatter said: “We are extremely happy to extend the partnership with Hyundai-Kia as one of the top Fifa partners who will provide active support for a further two editions of the Fifa World Cup in 2018 and 2022.
“Our partnership demonstrates a shared philosophy and passion for the game of football. We would like to thank Hyundai and Kia for their ongoing commitment and partnership.”
Mong-Koo Chung, chairman and chief executive of Hyundai Motor Group, added: “We are confident that this renewal will further enhance our business values and the vision that football can act as the driving force to make a better world.
“We are looking forward to taking an already successful partnership to the next level by working closely together, with the aim of achieving our common objectives.”
