FirstCape Wines has agreed a new sponsorship deal with the British & Irish Lions for the team’s tour of Australia in 2013.
FirstCape Wines, the UK’s fourth-largest selling wine brand, sponsored the Lions in 2009.
Joint director Steve Rosser said: “We enjoyed an excellent partnership with the Lions on their tour to South Africa in 2009 which proved a huge success and saw FirstCape rise from the 28th to the fourth-largest selling wine brand during the course of the sponsorship.
“We are looking forward to working with the Lions again on the tour to Australia in 2013 and our focus will now be on FirstCape’s new Australian range. The build towards the 2013 tour will be full of brand activity.”
