Lebara Mobile has signed a deal to become a new kit sponsor of London Irish Rugby Club for the 2010/11 season.
Lebara, which provides low-cost international mobile services from the UK, joins as an official partner of the club and will appear on the first-team playing shorts. The deal was negotiated by Lebara’s sponsorship agency Essentially Group.
Richard Marsh, commercial director at London Irish, said: "We are delighted to welcome Lebara Mobile on board. We believe that both London Irish and Lebara will be able to drive significant opportunities via our respective international supporter and customer bases.”
Russell Atkinson from Lebara Mobile added: “As our business continues to expand rapidly and successfully, we believe that an association with a team known as the Exiles fits perfectly with our strategy to increase our brand awareness within international communities even further.”
