Southampton announces car partner 02/02/2011 |

Mercedes-Benz has become the official car partner of Southampton Football Club.
At the same time, the club has signed Pentagon Commercials as its official commercial vehicle partner.
The deal will initially run until the end of the 2011/12 season.
Southampton executive chairman Nicola Cortese said: “Mercedes-Benz is a world-class brand and we are proud that they have decided to associate themselves with us. Their brand ideals of ‘the best or nothing’ fit perfectly with what we are trying to achieve here at Southampton.
“It is due to the overwhelming positivity surrounding the club at the moment that brands such as Mercedes-Benz are keen to work with us and as word of our success spreads, I envisage many more positive relationships with top brands.”
