Representatives of French companies with a vested interest in SA and the 2010 World Cup will have the opportunity to forge stronger ties when they meet Local Organising Committee officials at the 2010 Soccer World Cup & Beyond conference in Johannesburg today. The event will take stock of the preparatory process for 2010 while presenting the specific areas of expertise of French companies in this field. The aim will be to identify areas where South African municipalities could be benefit from this expertise. MATCH Hospitality and Auditoire, the company that organised the 1998 World Cup opening and closing ceremonies, will be among the companies represented. Tim Modise, communications officer of the LOC, will address the conference.
