Rushmans Ltd announced the launch of new websites for the forthcoming sports industry events to be held at the Novotel, St Pancras, London:

- Sports Event Management Conference on 12th November

- Sports Security Summit on 13th November

- SportBusiness Sports Event Management Awards on the evening of 12th November 2008

The websites have been launched in conjunction with the leading independent provider of web-based software solutions for professional sports organisations, Sportcentric and design consultants Tobasgo.

Nigel Rushman, Chairman of organisers Rushmans, said: "This is a perfect partnership and we are delighted to have Sportcentric and Tobasgo Creative on board. Effective websites are central to the success of every event and this partnership will bring to our conferences the same levels of sophisticated functionality and leading-edge design which these sector leading companies have delivered to many world-class sports events."

Sportcentric has developed a proprietary software platform; with over 100 websites built, their experience is second-to-none. Their clients span over 40 sports, and represent an equally broad organisation type – international and national governing bodies, professional franchises, major and lesser events, and service businesses.

Tobasgo Creative has a strong track record in creating and implementing branding for sport. They understand sports brands, their strategic and commercial imperatives and emotive influences, working at all levels covering corporate communications, event branding through to community and development initiatives. Clients number national and international sports governing bodies and major events, including the International Cricket Council (ICC), England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB), The Football League, UK Sport and The Ryder Cup.

Paul Nelson, CEO of Sportcentic said: “We are very pleased to be partnering with Rushmans. The conferences are an ideal forum for us to showcase our services, in particular our new platform for event websites, to a high calibre event industry audience”.

Alan Martin, Managing Director of Tobasgo Creative said: “Having worked closely with Rushmans on the ICC Cricket World Cup in the West Indies 2007, Tobasgo Creative are delighted to be the design partner for these events, providing creative expertise and marketing collateral”.

Now in its third year, the Sports Event Management Conference is established as the major annual meeting for local organising committees and event owners. It exists to help you understand and succeed in the business of major sports events. It delivers new perspectives and fresh thinking from the people who make the world’s biggest events happen.

The 5th Sports Security Summit will focus on the Future of Olympic and Major Event Security. The corner stone of every event, security remains at the top of the agenda and we bring together the leaders of intelligence and security services, event owners, local organising committees, local and national government for a unique knowledge sharing opportunity.
