NFL Names STATS Exclusive Domestic Provider of Real-Time NFL Game Data 20/08/2008

The National Football League and STATS LLC, the world's leading sports information provider, today announced the expansion of a multi-faceted relationship that designates STATS as the exclusive domestic provider of real-time NFL play-by-play, scoring data and statistics.
"It is a great pleasure for STATS to deepen our partnership with the NFL. This is another important milestone in our continuing efforts to deliver the best contextual sports coverage available to our clients," said STATS CEO, Gary Walrath. "STATS will continue to look into other ways to work with the NFL."
"STATS has done an outstanding job delivering our game day information to a wide variety of outlets," said Hans Schroeder, NFL vice president of digital media. "We are pleased to expand our partnership."
Additional facets of the multiyear agreement feature broad use of STATS' in-depth and exclusive content across NFL properties. STATS will provide AP editorial content and fantasy football news and notes for the league's website, www.NFL.com. The NFL Network will utilize STATS' industry leading web-based statistics tool, STATS PassŪ, along with its game notes and expert staff research to support NFL Total Access and game broadcasts. NFL Films and all 32 NFL teams will also be utilizing STATS Pass.
