The German Ski Federation (DSV) has entrusted the sports rights agency SPORTFIVE with the exclusive right to market the advertising at all ski-jumping world cups hosted by the DSV - except the Vierschanzen-Tournee (Four Hills Tournament) - and at the German alpine skiing world cups for the next three years.
"We need partners who will develop these sports positively in cooperation with us and our local organisers, and in SPORTFIVE, we have found an agency that wishes to focus more on winter sports from now on, in addition to its present fields of activity," declared DSV's marketing director Stefan Krauss. "As one of the market leaders, SPORTFIVE has a great deal of experience and a large network that will allow them to give us the best possible marketing representation."
"We are thrilled that the DSV has selected us as their marketing partner for its marketing rights in alpine skiing and ski jumping," says Philipp Hasenbein, managing director of SPORTFIVE. "The ski-jumping contests and alpine races are among the great and traditional events in winter sports. We will leverage SPORTFIVE's marketing power in fulfilling this task and will collaborate with WWP, an agency with vast winter sports experience, on the implementation."
The parties have agreed to keep all details of the contract confidential.
