The second Hospitality Investment Conference Africa (HICA) which kicked off in Johannesburg on Sunday, has a strong 2010 World Cup angle.
’HICA could not have come at a better time for our city, especially as we are preparing for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. This event will assist us in positioning Johannesburg as an ideal conference, event and exhibition location,’ said Lindiwe Mahlangu, chief executive of the Johannesburg Tourism Company which is sponsoring the conference.
This year’s programme will cover Africa’s readiness for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. In addition, the conference will once again host the prestigious Hospitality Investments Africa Awards which include Best New Hotel Development and the Hospitality Innovation Award.
