Benguela stadium gains form 01/10/2008

The construction works at the Benguela stadium one of the four being built for the 2010 AFCON is on course for its conclusion and consequent handing over in October 2009.
Currently the construction company is working on the stands of the first level in zones A and B as well as the 8 stadium accesses, as the project also contemplates access to two other different areas and for disabled spectators.
The technical networks are also in advanced stage particularly the three water reservoir, for domestic consumption, for pitch watering and other for chemical products to fight against fire.
According to what is projected, during the games the water consumption is estimated at 3 cubic meters, which is the minimum that the current network that links Catumbela to Benguela will have to supply to the stadium.
