LOC executive director visits Cabinda 14/10/2008

A team of the local organizing committee of the 2010 AFCON, headed by its executive director António Mangueira, visited Cabinda to see the progress in the construction of the Cabassango and Buço Ngoio residential complex which will accommodate teams and visitors during the African Cup of Nations from 10 to 31 January.
The Cabassango residential complex located some 8 kilometres north of the Cabinda International Stadium was chosen to offer accommodation to the 4 national teams together with their technical staff will have 100, three bedroom houses a total of 300 beds and should be concluded by mid 2009.
The Buco Ngoio residential complex also to be handed over in mid 2009 will be available to accommodate national and foreign journalists, delegates, CAF officials and guests with a capacity of 250 houses of three and four bedrooms a total of 800 beds.
The two residential complexes will all have the required services for international events from restaurants, kitchen, entertainment rooms and chatting rooms.
As for the stadium, Mr António Mangueira said to be happy with the progress registered.
