Soccerex announced a new two day event for next year – the Soccerex Brasilia Forum 2009. The business forum will take place on 18th March in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, the fastest growing economy in the world and host of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
The Soccerex Brasilia Forum 2009 will be presented by Grupo Aguia, the leading tourism & travel services company in Brazil, in association with the Gauteng Provincial Government, hosts of Soccerex 2007-2009.
A senior Soccerex delegation travelled to Brazil last week, including Chairman, Tony Martin and CEO, Duncan Revie and the agreement was signed at a packed press conference in Brasilia that was attended by senior figures including:

Speaking at the press conference, Soccerex CEO, Duncan Revie said:

The Soccerex Brasilia Forum 2009 will kick-off with an exclusive celebrity dinner on the 17th March. The business forum will take place on the 18th March comprising of a conference and exhibition. The event is expected to be attended by over 1000 senior industry professionals from Brazil and the rest of the world.
In preparation for the event, a large delegation from Brazil, including senior figures from the CBF and the Brasilia government plus representatives from all of the host cities for 2014 FIFA World Cup will be attending Soccerex 2008 in Gauteng Province, South Africa, 23 to 26 November.
