Total Sports Asia Continues Real Madrid’s Winning Streak in China 05/11/2008

Real Madrid club de Fútbol has been collaborating closely with leading Asian sports marketing specialist, Total Sports Asia, with both agreeing to an agency deal back in July 2008 and since then both Real Madrid and TSA has chalked up a number of deals for Real Madrid’s content throughout Asia.
Today, Real Madrid and Total Sports Asia announced yet another partnership, this time with Mobile Multimedia Co.Ltd, to distribute Real Madrid’s mobile content and for the launch of its official WAP portal in China.
This marks Real Madrid’s first foray into China for its mobile content business. Football fans in China will be able to access goals from the UEFA Champions League, weekly club news, and interviews, photos of Real Madrid players in action, Official Real Madrid JAVA games, text updates of schedules, scores and results, and ringtones through its localized WAP portal (wap.ilook.com).
Mobile Multimedia Co Ltd CEO, Mr. Richard Long said, “We are very happy to work with Real Madrid, one of the world’s first class football clubs, with Mobile Multimedia’s professional focus and Real Madrid’s reach, we are confident to gather the fans and bring to China a wide array of interactive and exciting mobile content.”
Mobile Multimedia has partnered with a local magazine, China Youth Daily to build an interactive mobile WAP magazine, and Real Madrid’s mobile content will be the latest addition to this project.
Begoña Sanz, Deputy Sales and Marketing Managing Director of Real Madrid said, “Real Madrid is immensely popular in Asia and this tie-in with Mobile Multimedia through Total Sports Asia, would enable us to continue our efforts in expanding our fan base in the largest market in Asia.”
