The 2008 Scottish International Open, which kicks off the 2008/09 World Bowls Tour season on Saturday (8 November) in Perth, has acquired a new title sponsor, Dales Sports Surfaces.
The Dales Sports Surfaces Scottish International Open will take place at Dewars in Perth for the fifth year in a row from 8-15 November. The WBT world ranking event features the top 16 players in the world, joined by qualifiers from the UK, Australia, South Africa, USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Israel and New Zealand.
“As the leading Worldwide Artificial Bowls Surface Supplier, Dales Sports Surfaces Ltd are pleased to be the main sponsors for the Scottish Open at Perth,” said Sales Manager Peter Hiom.
The unique portable bowls rink – which Dales Sports have been building for the WBT for the last ten years - is used for up to six televised events per year.
