Dunlop announced its official ball supply sponsorship of the BlackRock Masters Tennis, the London leg of the BlackRock Tour of Champions, taking place at the Royal Albert Hall, from 2nd to 7th December 2008.
The BlackRock Masters competition is one of the most prestigious tournaments played in the UK, with tennis legends such as Pete Sampras, Pat Cash, John McEnroe, Jeremy Bates and Stefan Edberg all competing in the BlackRock Masters Tennis.
John McEnroe and Greg Rusedski will be representing the Dunlop stable of players in the competition. Current Dunlop players all using rackets with the exciting new Dunlop Aerogel technology include James Blake (10th), Tomas Berdych (20th), Tommy Robredo (21st), and Dominika Cibulkova (19th).
Dunlop’s Sponsorship Manager, Sunny Singh said: “This sponsorship agreement makes perfect sense for Dunlop – the brand has historically been used by the world’s best tennis players, and our partnership with the BlackRock Masters Tennis allows this tradition to continue.
