The largest Swedish commercial TV channel TV4 will be the exclusive broadcast Partner for next summer's UEFA European Under-21 Championship tournament in Sweden.
Live and highlights
UEFA said on Thursday that TV4 will broadcast all matches featuring the Swedish team, a semi-final and the final on the TV4 free-to-air channel. TV4 Sport will show all the remaining matches live as well as a daily evening highlights programme featuring the best of the action from the matches taking place each day. TV4 Sport will also show delayed coverage of all fifteen matches in full.
Internet and mobile
Football fans in Sweden will also be able to follow their young stars in action on the internet via http://www.tv4.se and http://www.fotbollskanalen.se as well as on mobile. As part of the deal, TV4 will ensure the delivery of high-quality host broadcast production for the tournament.
Extensive coverage
"We are delighted to announce the appointment of TV4 as its broadcast partner in the host country for next year's UEFA European Under-21 Championship," said UEFA. "This deal is fantastic news for football fans in Sweden as they will be able to follow their team throughout the competition as well as have the opportunity to watch extensive coverage from all the other matches."
