The deal, which runs until the end of 2012, will add to an already healthy bank balance after the sport was allocated £27.5million of public money last month to prepare for the London Olympics. It was the highest public funding award of any Olympic sport.
It also means a parting of the ways between GB Rowing and Lottery provider Camelot, who sponsored Britain's two flagship boats, the men's coxless four and the women's quadruple scull, before the Beijing Olympics, where they won gold and silver respectively.
Siemens have sponsored the remaining boats in the British squad since 2006 but have now exercised a clause in their contract allowing them to sponsor the entire Olympic team.
David Tanner, the GB Rowing performance director, said: "It is a great boost to our sport that Siemens has taken up the option to sponsor all the Olympic class boats.
"They have already made a huge contribution to GB Rowing and they are excellent sponsors. There are significant synergies between the two organisations which allow us to work to mutual benefit."
As part of the deal, Siemens are looking at providing technical expertise.
Dianne Thompson, the Camelot chief executive, said she was "deeply disappointed" to have been outbid by Siemens. "We were so proud to have played a role in the fantastic success of the team at the Beijing Olympics and we were looking forward to continuing to support their success on home waters at the London Olympics," she said.
"Our attachment to the team, in particular the men's four and women's quad, is so strong we have decided that Camelot will not sponsor another individual sport for 2012."
