The Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee has announced the release of Insurance Product and Passenger Air Transportation Services categories which are now open to top tier domestic sponsors. Companies in both fields will have an opportunity to tender for the status of General Partner of Sochi 2014 and the rights and privileges this entails. One of each will be selected following a thorough evaluation process.
The exclusive rights and privileges gained by the selected General Partners will be valid throughout Russia over the period to 2016. Invitations to tender were sent out to leading companies in each of the categories, published in the PARTNERS section and announced to the media.
Igor Stolyarov, Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee Marketing, Communications and Commercial Operations Vice President, is conducting a program of engagement with companies within these sectors to inform them of the sponsorship opportunities in detail.
Companies providing insurance of all kinds like annuities, commercial, health, household, legal, life, property, travel, automobile insurance and other related insurance services may apply for the General Partner status in the Insurance Product Category. To select a partner in the Passenger Air Transportation Services Category the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee will consider applications from companies working in this area.
Dmitry Chernyshenko, Sochi 2014 President and CEO, said:

They will also have the honor of playing a part in the development and delivery of Russia’s first ever Winter Games.”
The Sochi 2014 Marketing Program in Russia consists of several levels of association: Sochi 2014 General Partners (up to 10 companies), Official Partners (up to 10 companies) and up to 15 suppliers (Sochi 2014 Partners).
The results of the tender will be announced after the successful companies have been notified.
