The KNCB has announced Jan Zwart as its Acting CEO from the 1st April for a 6-month period. He will take over from Andre van Troost who has recently decided to return to the healthcare industry.
Jan has been a treasurer of the KNCB since November 2008. He is an active cricket player and has played for Cricket Club Hilversum for the last 15 year. During his time as a student, Jan was also the president of the Groninger Cricket Club. Jan is a trained economist and is currently director of De Beaufort Consulting.
In his spare time Jan is a board member of several social and musical committees.
Jan Zwart’s announcement will positively contribute to the operations of the KNCB office due to the fact that, as a board member, he has active knowledge of both its opportunities as well as its challenges.
President Marc Asselbergs has a lot of confidence in Jan Zwart: “Due to his current position as treasurer of the board Jan has active knowledge of the KNCB's strategy. Also, Andre will make himself available for a position on the board, hence we will be able to continue to make usage of both Jan and Andre’s expertise”.
