The New York Giants won’t raise ticket prices next season for the first time since 2000.
The average price of a ticket to the National Football League team’s games at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, will remain at $91.10, which ranks 12th in the 32-team league, the Giants said in a news release.
About three-quarters of NFL teams are freezing ticket prices, the league has said, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears. The league in November lowered the price of playoff tickets an average of 10 percent in response to “the economic challenges facing fans.”
Tickets range from $80 a seat in the upper deck to $105 a seat in the mezzanine level, the Giants said. Five playoff teams will be on the National Football Conference East champions’ schedule, including conference finalists Philadelphia and Arizona.
