PROCON Event Engineering, international leading full-service supplier of technical equipment for events and television productions, has signed a partnership contract with the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) for three years (2009 - 2011).

The OCA is the apex sports body controlling the sports in Asia. It is one of the five continental associations recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The OCA was formed in 1982 and has its permanent headquarters in Kuwait.

As a result of this partnership, Procon will support OCA where needed for its different events for a period of three years. One of the first projects was the opening ceremony of the new OCA headquarters in Kuwait, which took place on March 11. A technical highlight of this event was a 200 square metres Barco OLite LED wall.

Morten Carlsson, CEO, Procon Event Engineering said about the partnership: "It is a great honor for us to be a partner of the Olympic Council of Asia. We are looking forward to working with them and support them as a technical full service provider in the realisation of their events."

Procon has already been involved in several Asian sports games such as the Asian Games in Doha, Special Olympics World Summer Games in Shanghai and the Olympic Games in Beijing.
