Leading horseracing television channel and media rights management company Racing UK has launched a video product which will allow the latest racing highlights to be syndicated to Racing UK stakeholder websites. Using technology provided by leading digital media company Entriq, aintree.co.uk, the official website for Aintree Racecourse, has re-launched today featuring this video dynamic product ahead of the Grand National on the 4th April.
Entriq technology will be applied to Racing UK broadcast content enabling news and features, as well as feature races from each of the channel’s courses, to be distributed to and embedded in partner websites. The ease and speed by which racecourse and other stakeholder websites will be able to acquire and manage footage of the latest racing marks a significant step in driving the sport’s appeal to a new and younger online audience.
Simon Brydon, Head of Online at Racing UK said: “We want to promote racing to as wide an audience as possible and the digital platform is perfect for this.”
“Entriq’s media solution provides an unrivalled ease and speed of syndication ensuring that we can quickly and efficiently get our video content to stakeholder websites and keep new and existing racing fans updated with all the latest action from our courses.”
“Our syndication technology enables Racing UK to maximise its digital media assets,” stated Guy Tennant, COO of Entriq. “We have extensive experience in packaging and distributing content to consumers and users and this partnership will undoubtedly strengthen affiliate relationships to help grow the sport across an online audience.”
Racing UK manages the media rights for and broadcasts all racing from 30 of the UK’s top racecourses including Cheltenham, Aintree, Epsom and York. Fifteen of these courses are expected to go active with the new video product by mid April including Aintree, Haydock, Epsom, Hamilton Park, Newbury, Sandown and York.
