China hopes badminton's international tournament schedule can be adjusted to prevent clashes with the new Chinese professional league set to re-launch later this year.
China, the dominant power in the sport, has said the domestic league would inevitably see some of its top players missing international tournaments.
"Certainly what I hope is that the BWF (Badminton World Federation) in the end can organise its event schedule more reasonably in accordance with our league," China head coach Li Yongbo told reporters on Thursday.
The BWF, which is concerned that there will be more withdrawals after China pulled all of its players out of last season's first Super Series finals, said last month it wanted to talk to Chinese officials on the issue.
But Li, whose team will defend their Sudirman Cup title in Guangzhou next month, said they had so far had no communication with the badminton world governing body.
Li said he wanted to see top non-Chinese players in the new league to help develop the sport from a base of 254 million badminton participants in the country.
"I also hope we can invite the best international players to play in China and promote the development of badminton here," he said.
