UEFA has awarded various 2009-12 UEFA Europa League media rights in Scandinavia to leading broadcasters in the region – MTG in Denmark and Norway, and TV4 in Sweden.
Live and highlights
In Denmark, the first-choice live match together with highlights will be available free-to-air on TV3+. Further live games from the competition will be available on TV3+ and TV2 Sport. In Norway, live matches and highlights will be shown free-to-air on either TV2 Zebra or Viasat 4. Further live games will be broadcast on pay channels TV2 Sport and Viasat Sport.
Swedish rights
TV4 has acquired the rights in Sweden. As part of the deal, TV4 Sport will show, throughout the majority of the competition, two matches each matchweek as well as a highlights programme featuring the best of the action from the other UEFA Europa League games taking place around Europe.
