Comcast Corp., the largest U.S. cable TV operator, is close to completing an agreement that will allow it to distribute NFL Network television, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people close to the talks.
Comcast, which has about 17.3 million subscribers, will pay the National Football League about 50 cents a month for each user that receives the expanded digital basic menu of channels, in a deal that would allow both sides to claim victory, the report said.
