China Southern Power Grid becomes sponsor of Guangzhou Asian Games 10/06/2009

China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd. (CSG) has signed a contract with the Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC), which sees it become the Prestige Partner of Guangzhou Asian Games in 2010.
As Prestige Partner, CSG will be dedicated to provide stable electricity supplies and green power services for the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games. CSG will provide electricity facilities during venue construction, transmission service for sporting venues and stable power service during Game's time.
As one of two state-owned power grid companies in China, CSG (formed in 2002) invests, constructs and operates the transmission and distribution networks in Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou and Hainan provinces and regions. Currently, CSG ranks No.226 among the Fortune Top 500 Corporations.
At a signing ceremony press event, Mr Huang Huahua, Executive President of GAGOC, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Guangdong; Mr Zhu Xiaodan, Vice President of GAGOC, Member of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of CPC and Secretary of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee of CPC; Mr Lin Musheng, Vice President of GAGOC and Vice Governor of Guangdong; Mr Zhang Guangning, Vice President & Secretary General of GAGOC and Mayor of Guangzhou Municipality; Mr Xu Ruisheng, Executive Deputy Secretary General of GAGOC and Vice Mayor of Guangzhou Municipality; Mr Timothy FOK Tsun-ting, OCA Vice President and President of Olympic Committee of Hong Kong; Mr Ruan Maozhen, Chairman of CSG, Mr Zhao Jianguo, General Manager of CCSG and Mr Zhang Xiaodong, Deputy General Manager of CSG, all attended, along with other officials from CSG.
