Total Sports Asia & Havas Sports & Entertainment today announced the signing of a business partnership, enabling each company to strengthen and expand their offer in certain territories.

Havas Sports & Entertainment is part of the Havas Group, the 5th largest communication’s group in the world. Present in 20 countries, Havas Sports & Entertainment develops communications solutions for brands by connecting them to people’s daily life and passions through the creation and implementation of content and experience strategies.

Total Sports Asia (TSA), established in 1997, is the leading Asian specialist in sports and entertainment solutions. With seven offices and over 90 employees, TSA covers all major markets in Asia.

The partnership will allow each network to deliver wider services to clients, as both entities will benefit from capabilities of the other. Whereas Total Sports Asia has a strong track record in properties rights management, sales and relationships with Asian clients, Havas Sports & Entertainment has a long history with brands in Europe and Americas.

Already established in Asia through locations in China and India, Havas Sports & Entertainment will strengthen their position across the region with Total Sports Asia’s additional network presence. Havas Sports & Entertainment’s strong network in the European and American markets, as well as Africa -- through their recently opened South African location, will allow Total Sports Asia to offer a wider service to its Asian multinational clients with global ambitions.

The newly allied networks will look to share and develop common new clients, increase revenues, and build stronger relationships with regional stakeholders.

Lucien Boyer, CEO of the Havas Sports & Entertainment network, said, “The expertise of Total Sports Asia is well recognized by sports experts in the Asian region. Thanks to this partnership we’ll be able to bolster our offer in Asia, and help Total Sports Asia in our strong markets in Europe and the Americas. I’m very to happy to take this step and am looking forward to working together with Marcus Luer and his team, and announcing our first common clients very soon.”

Marcus Luer, Group CEO of Total Sports Asia, commented: ‘’It’s a true win-win partnership for all parties involved. Our joint services and global presence compliment each other well and we are delighted to join forces with such a large and established communication group. Asian brands are looking to engage more and more in integrated marketing activities in their home markets and overseas. That’s where we all believe the new opportunities exist for the future.”
