The Executive Director of COCAN 2010 said on Wednesday during the ususal press briefing, that the Confederation of African Football (CAFA), is very pleased with the state of organization of the 2010 AFCON.
According to Eng. António Mangueira, this position was expressed by the CAF President, Issa Hayatou, at the end of his fact finding visit to Angola last week, leading a CAF delegation.
At the briefing, during which the COCAN 2010 Executive Director reviewed the visit of the African football regulatory body, the press were let in on the schedule of the visit of the COCAN management in August to Paris (France), Abidjan (Ivory Coast) and Cairo (Egypt) and Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), within the framework of promotion of the 2010 AFCON.
The workshop on the mode of operation of publicity during the 2010 AFCON, which SportFive (the company holding the publicity and marketing rights of the competition) will organize in the upcoming month of September in Luanda, was also discussed during the briefing.
