Lamine Diack lauds preparation for 13th World Indoor Athletics Championship 18/08/2009

Lamine Diack, President of International Association of Athletics Federation, IAAF applauded the exceptional preparations of the organising committee of the 13th IAAF World Indoor Athletics Championship to be held in Doha in 2010.
The IAAF President ensured his trust in the ability of Qatar to showcase high standard for the championship.
Mr. Lamine Diack visited the Qatari promotional wing for at the spectators area in Berlin Olympic stadium.
The IAAF Chief was received by members of the Qatari delegation under the leadership of Abdullah Ahmad Al Zaini, President of Qatar Association of Athletics Federation.
The delegation included; Adel Al Baker, Sadoun Al Kuwari, Hassan Al Mohammadi, Jabar Al Kaabi, Jossi Roblis, Maher Safi, Yaqoub Abdullah, Khalid Al Mohannadi, Abdulhakim Al Amri, Jen Felanders, Alfertit Wilter.
Mr. Abdulrahman Al Dosari, Director of the QOC Public Relations and Marketing Department briefed Lamine Diack about the Qatari promotional wing and preparations of Qatar.
The IAAF President lauded the Qatari role in supporting sports at the continental and international levels.
He also stressed that the visit of the Qatari delegation to Berlin reflects the seriousness of the Qatari organisation for the world championship.
Mr. Abdullah Al Zaini, QAAF President said that the Qatari visit to Berlin is beneficial as the delegation members knew more about the German experience in organising the World Championships.
