Catalina Ramirez, President of the Bogota 2015 bid committee, highlighted the advances and attributes of Bogota 2015's bid for the Pan American Games at last week's International Olympic Committee (IOC) Congress in Copenhagen.
Ramirez met with representatives of Olympic committees from the Americas, promoting Bogota's bid and reiterating the commitment of the entire country for the Colombian capital to hold "the largest sporting event of the Americas" said a press release.
Monday representatives of Bogota 2015 held a meeting with the heads of the national Olympic committees from the America's who said they were pleased that Bogota has met all necessary conditions to host the 2015 Pan Am Games.
The host city will be announced at the Pan American Sports Organization (PASO) meeting in Guadalajara, Mexico on November 6.
