Major League Baseball’s team owners unanimously approved the sale of Tribune Co.’s Chicago Cubs to the family of Joe Ricketts in a transaction valued at $845 million.
The transaction should close by the end of the month, said Pat Courtney, a spokesman for Major League Baseball.
