The World Grand Champions Cup is the biggest and most important Volleyball Event on the FIVB calendar in 2009. The Men’s and Women’s tournament’s are held just once every four years and features two million USD in prize money. “We are delighted to cooperate again with Nippon Television on this top tier FIVB property,” said Jonas Persson, CEO of IEC in Sports. “IEC has made our best efforts to popularize Volleyball around the world over the last 13 years we have worked within the sport starting with our coverage of the Montreux Volley Masters all the way back in 1996. IEC look forward to achieving top global distribution for the FIVB World Grand Champions Cup again this fall.”
