Taiwan Beer named as Official Beer Partner of the 16th Asian Games 28/10/2009

The Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC) announced on Tuesday its partnership with Taiwan Beer in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, naming Taiwan Beeras Beer Partner of the Guangzhou Asian Games.
Taiwan Beer, which sales over 70 percent market share in local beer market and is the leading beer company in Taiwan, has gained a Chinese trademark in Mainland China in May 2009. The company has also launched business exploration and development in Fujian, Shanghai and Tianjin.
At the signing ceremony organised in Beijing, capital of China, Kong Shaoqiong, Member of the Standing Committee of Guangzhou Municipality, Xu Ruisheng, Executive Deputy Secretary General of GAGOC and Vice Mayor of Guangzhou, Po-Tao Wei, Chairman of the Board of Taiwan Tobacco & Liquor Corporation (TTL), Gu Shiyang and Liu Jiangnan, Deputy Secretary Generals of GAGOC, all made their presence.
Xu said in the opening speech that: "The fact that Taiwan Beer is named Partner of the 16th Asian Games embodies deepening communication and corporation in the aspects of economics and culture across the Straits while spreading the Games Vision 'Thrill Games, Harmonious Asia'.
"Taiwan Beer can seize the Games as a great opportunity to promote its brand in Mainland China even in Asia, and serves Guangzhou 2010 with the best quality and elite services."
The 16th Asian Games will be held in "Flower City" of Guangzhou from November 12 – 27,, 2009. More than 12,000 athletes from 45 countries and regions will compete in 42 sports. Taiwan Beer's partnership with the 16th Asian Games paves its way for a promising market.
