International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Jacques Rogge said the TV bidding rights for the 2014 and 2016 Olympic Games could begin soon after the end of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games February 28.
He told the Associated Press that the U.S. "economic climate seems to be reviving, so that's a good omen". Rogge said negotiations won't take place during the Games themselves, adding "I think second quarter, second half of next year would definitely be possible".
