The Powerboat P1 World Championship has renewed its rights deal with South African broadcaster SuperSport for the 2010 season.
SuperSport will show highlights of each Powerboat P1 event, starting with the Croatian Grand Prix of the Sea in Split, on April 16-18.
Powerboat P1 chief operating officer Robert Wicks said: "SuperSport is a valued partner of the Powerboat P1 World Championship and its willingness to support the series is representative of our growing worldwide audience figures and number of dedicated broadcasts."
Imtiaz Patel, chief executive of SuperSport International, added: “Powerboat P1 is a thrilling series that has clearly caught the market’s attention. Fast-growing and exciting to watch, Powerboat P1 fits with SuperSport’s efforts to secure the best pay-television sporting rights.”
